FAQs

  1. Should the prices on the GSA Hardware BPA be considered firm or will negotiation be considered?

    Pricing should be considered firm for small quantity orders.
    Larger quantity orders certainly should be brought to the attention of the IDI Account Manager, Rhett Butler, Phone: (703)554-1624, rbutler@intelligent.net or Program Manager, Apryle Edelblute, Phone: (703-554-1634), aedelblute@intelligent.net . Additional discounting may not always be possible, however, every attempt will be made to arrive at a negotiated price based on the quantity to be purchased and the amount of discounting already in place.


  2. What is the delivery time for products purchased from the GSA Hardware BPA?

    The GSA Hardware BPA contract requires a 30 day delivery from the time an order is placed. As a general rule you can expect ordered products to be delivered in less than 3 weeks. Exceptions may occur due to industry or manufacturer shortages and when this is the case an associated notification will be published on this website (see next question).

  3. A notification has been published on the website that indicates that there is a shortage of 17” monitors and that this will likely cause shipping delays for any offered systems that are bundled with the monitor in question. Is there anyway to have the bundled system delivered without the monitor and have the monitor shipped later?

    If the monitor is the only item causing shipping delays for a bundled system the system can be sent separately from the monitor as long as the person placing the order authorizes partial shipment. This can be done by utilizing the comments section of the on-line ordering section on this website. This type of shipping should also be coordinated with the IDI Account Manager.

  4. A system on the contract almost meets my requirements. However, I need some modifications to meet my particular requirements. Can I order the system with modifications made to it?

    If modifications are required they should be coordinated with the GSA Hardware BPA Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR). The COTR (Dallas Hayes) can be reached by telephone at 404-915-3060. It must be understood that modifications may result in different pricing. It should also be understood that if you are requesting a major modification you may be asked to submit a request a waiver to allow for the purchase.


  5. Is expedited delivery available for the items offered on the GSA Hardware BPA?

    Yes, expedited delivery may be coordinated with the IDI Account Manager. There will be an additional charge based on product weight and requested delivery time frame. Expedited delivery charges are normally handled as credit card transactions. It should be understood that the expedited delivery does not take place until the ordered systems have been built and the build process could take as much as a week or more.


  6. What do I do if I have product covered under warranty that needs repaired?

  7. Can I purchase product that is not listed on the GSA BPA?
